The Team

I suppose the first question would be why? Our response to that would be why the heck not ! ? When we first stumbled across the Plymouth-Dakar challenge, we were instantly hooked on the adventure of it, without a lot of thought an application was sent in, and before you could say Bobs your Uncle we were accepted. Now a bit of reality has stepped in, but we are still as keen as ever. When else are you going to have a chance at an adventure like this!
Corde
A kiwi through and through, Corde has been travelling and working as a project engineer since leaving University. After a few years in London, Corde is currently set up in Canada, coming back especially for the challenge. An ex car-mechanic from his younger years, it is Cordes responsibility to get us and our little car their in one piece! No pressure mate!
See some photos of Cordes more recent travels.
Aaron
Born and raised in New Zealand, finishing up Engineering at Uni I came to London for travel, fun and naturally the promise of some pounds. Quickly dropping engineering, I now work for a big oil company trading natual gas and electricity in the UK.
I can't say I bring the technical mechanical skills to the team, I am more of the navigator (as long as we have a GPS system).
